Dr. Julie Burke, Dipl.OM, L.Ac, LMBT has served the Asheville community as a well respected healer for the past twenty years, attending to the subtle energetics of the individuals she works with. She began her path with a degree in Anthropology, focusing on Ethnobotany, Shamanism, and Native American studies. She graduated in 1996 from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. After many summers of learning to navigate, guide, and flow with the healing waters of the Ocoee river, she was inspired to attend Massage school. She studied with Craig Ellis at the North Carolina School of Natural Healing in 2000. Two years later, Julie took her practice deeper by studying Reiki and Energy healing with Daisy Conway. In 2008, she graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts and opened her practice, Deep Alchemy Acupuncture. In 2016, she began teaching at Daoist Traditions, and continues to educate and supervise upcoming students of Classical Chinese Medicine. Julie also became a Reiki Master and is now certified to teach and attune others. In 2019, She completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), with focus on Orthopedics and Women’s Health. Julie shares from her heart. Reaching deep into her well of clinical and life experiences she guides beings toward their inner wisdom and encourages the development of a practice rooted in awareness, truth, and deep healing. Integrating conscious energetic touch and therapeutic release, Julie brings the wisdom of many different streams into focus.
My own healing process has led me to this path! I have been studying and practicing multiple forms of healing for many years. There is no one magical thing that can help you.
